Item arrived quickly and was packaged safely but there was a lot of rust on the blade and in the teeth I have spoken to the seller & they offered to give me some money back off the price of I keep it...I am waiting for the relevant department to sort it out at the moment. I'm not sure if this rust will spread all over the blade and ruin it. But I have been advised to oil the blade with a lubricant. You get what you pay for but I have no idea how much a scythe/sickle should cost anyway.

    Good solid square I have been after a large one for a while now as have been using a 7" one which is fine but for deeper timber this is ideal and for a third of the price of a swanson you can't go wrong would definitely recommend
