    iPhone 7p screen protector - review

    Product is actually a great value and well designed, it seems to be holding up nicely over the one month we've had it in use. Easy to install and fits correctly. Only negative is the cleaning cloths that also come with this product. They are of no use and left streaks on the surface, which I needed to clean again with my own cleaner.

    Shattered my screen

    I want to start by saying that I drop my phone at least 5x a day and not once have I cracked my screen. It lands on the front of the screen, it hits tile and cement. I run through screen protectors just as often as I drop it. However, this brand didn't protect my phone one bit. The first fall with these screen protectors and my phone shattered. The screen protector didn't show a sign of damage. Also, usually tempered glass screen protectors will suction themselves to your screen, these did not.

    Good product as pictured

    It’s a good screen protector. It doesn’t have the cleaning materials or jig for setting it perfectly as others do, but it fits the phone well and I don’t have to worry about a cracked screen

    Phones have slightly rounded glass and the protectors are going to have to be rounded too.

    There is a significant gap between the edge or the glass protector and where any case would start. You can see this in the picture a white or greyish area around the glass. There is air in there because the two pieces of glass are not stuck together. Right now you can push it really hard with your finger and it will turn black but a few seconds later the glass flattens back out and pulls way from the screen. Soon there will be dirt and dust in the gap and it will never seal. I just with there was a better way to do it. I did have glass protectors on my phone 6 that had the gap but they sealed on the edges much better. I specifically ordered from MagicGuard because the reviews indicated that these protectors would not have that problem of lifting the edges. Unfortunately they do.

    Very good protection.

    This screen protector is the best way I know of to prevent scratches on your phone, and it could not be any simpler to install. It lasts me around 6 months or so before I need to put on a new one. Seeing all the scratches the protector takes on, rather than my phone- shows how well it works. There is no glare indoors or out with this protector, and is no different from viewing the screen without one. I have given these to several family members, and have several of these on standby.
