Opeth continue with progressive elements
This album, like the previous two by Opeth, is a mixed bag. Although there are a couple of 'heavy' tracks the band continue with the prog-rock elements I appreciate more. If you liked the 'growling' heavier elements of their first few albums you may be disappointed as these are mostly gone, but the mellow more mature prog-like tracks are more accessible and pleasing. Not as consistently good as Heritage in this respect but similar to Sorceress. For completists, the 2-disc version has the album in Swedish and English language, This album, like the previous two by Opeth, is a mixed bag.
