My inkbird was reading crazy temperatures so I sent for a replacement probe which arrived today, 4 days after ordering, even with a postal strike for 1 day. The replacement comes with a jack plug socket, which I was not aware of and very pleased to have it included. I snipped the old wires inside the unit and soldered the new wires to it. Thankfully it all now works again. I selected the metal probe so I can push it through a grommet into my fermentation bin.
