I've had this camera for a while now and have to say it is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time, yes it's big and a tad heavy, but it is exactly how it needs to be built. I have taken it, along with a rucksack full of lenses, to the top of Munroe mountains in Scotland whilst following the wild Red Deer rut last autumn, the weather threw everything at us and this camera was faultless in it's delivery and the images were top notch.I've had this camera for a while now and have to say it is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time, yes it's big and a tad heavy, but it is exactly how it needs to be built. A very robust camera, giving excellent results.
Having had a Mk2 EOS1D since March 2008, I decided that it was time for a change as after mega usage, the older model was getting a wee bit 'tired'. I was not to be disappointed for the Mk4 does everything that the Mk2 did, but a lot more easily, and with more features.

fantastic camera, previously had the mkiii, this totally blows it out of the water. It was a straightforward transition to the mk iii to mkIV. the extra 6mp makes a big difference and the rear screen resolution is also a step up from the mkiii.
