You really should hear this record one way or the other.
Briefly! One of the best records to come out of the 1970's. I saw most of this, if not all of it, performed live at the FreeTrade Hall, Manchester. Crosby & Nash flew very straight and true for a few years, holding a spirited & ideologically sound banner high during this momentus period. This record captures the cross-cultural, cross-political divides & the essence of a post 'hippy' propagandised era, and presents the finest of Crosby, Stills & Nash's style of gentle & perfected harmonies singing to the heights of bravery in mature emotional expression that emboldened this, my generation.
