The horror that Aubrey endured under the hands of the killer is only the beginning in this thriller, as Aubrey/Dakota questions her own sanity and sense of reality.<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>As an actress who has made her name by playing good-girl characters in films such as FREAKY FRIDAY and MEAN GIRLS, Lohan makes quite a departure from her previous roles with I KNOW WHO KILLED ME. There's plenty of disturbing fare here: scenes of Lohan pole dancing are contrasted with scenes of the same character as an amputee. This is director Chris Sivertson's first major film after two smaller pictures (ALL CHEERLEADERS DIE and THE LOST), and here he creates a highly stylized work with a number of haunting visuals.

    very confussin!! *SPOILER* plot outline!

    aubrey flemming is kidnapped (not that she knows or we know by her piano techer) and is torchered by having ice clamped to her hand so he can cut a finger off then her hand drops off,and her leg cut off, she then escapes, when she is found she tells everyone that she is dakota moss NOT aubrey flemming, dakota is a story aubrey has been writting about for school essays, she (dakota) is a frequent swarer,smoker and a pole dancer and aubrey well lets say is proper perfect and no where near like dakota, it got confussing near the end as it then ended with aubrey and dakota laying together as if they was twins??!!?? i got confussed as the plot is that aubrey is wrting about dakota and so dakota was in her mind but at the end like i said previous it was like they where twins! looks very cheaply ...

    This film is a must for all Lindsay Lohan fans.

    If it was not for Lindsay Lohan, then this film would be so-so at best, but she manages to make it both seductive and haunting. I first saw this film last year on it's initial release for rental, and to say Lindsay has finally outgrown her Disney film roots would be an understatment. It's one of those films where you just can't help but try to figure out the twist at the end before it's happened. It caused quite a discussion between my friends and I, something I do not tend to like doing while watching a film. With this one however, I like to think that it wants you to be the detective because you find yourself trying to finish the puzzle while their are still several pieces missing.
