Positive, but assembly instructions unclear--not really instructions at all. That, plus the delicateness of parts (thin wooded stics, etc.) make assembly difficult (still haven't completed making). However, clever mechanism and good deal cheaper than preaasembled USA equivalent. Challenging--but if successful, prbably worth it.

    A lot of fun for the price!

    For a few bucks these are a lot of fun. The assembly instructions are in broken English at best but they pictures are helpful. One thing that was not clear until after I had mine together is that the plastic strips that look like bread ties are really double sided tape for holding the wing plastic onto the wooden pieces. I used a few drops of superglue instead. For what you have into them, they are a hoot.

    This is a beautiful toy bird. With the use of rubber bands it can be powered up then released where it mimics the flight of most birds

    Poor instructions and doesn't fly

    This product came with virtually no instructions for assembly, other than a picture with incorrectly translated labels. I was able to assemble the model based on instructions for similar models online. However, something is off with the turning mechanism, and it won't rotate fast enough for flight. I will try lubricating and adjusting to see if this can be fixed.

    Novelty item

    Makes a better glider than an "ornithopter", which it's not. It's a flapping glider. It required some adjustment to get it to work, but still a fun item. Mine was a dollar and shipped from China for free.
