  • Jazz III with more control

My favourite pick is a standard red Jazz III, I love the flex and low chirp, but I'm aware there is some accuracy lost due to the flexibility. Harder picks have too much chirp for me (especially noticeable as I'm an IEM player) so I've stayed with Jazz III as it's the best compromise. However, these Acrylux picks might just be the best of both worlds. Although they're the same size and shape, they are noticeably firmer than Jazz IIIs, but have pretty low chirp and are much cheaper than the other boutique picks I've been trying out. Seem to be hard wearing too. Apart from being more slippy than a Jazz III, they play in a similar way, but with more control. Highly recommended - long lasting, low chirp, high control, relatively inexpensive pick that's really well designed.
