loved it... i recommend it... the dime light in darkness with a sensor when you walk close is very coo indeed... I must buy and the notification via email and the app on anything going on smoke wise etc is clever and useful in case you are not home.

unnecessary features for most people.
The item I received was from aging stock. There is an expiry date on this product, so although the price was lower than from where I found elsewhere, so was the useful life of the alarm. Generally, I quite like Nest products and have gone down that route for my home. I would definitely recommend a hard-wired alarm if you possibly can, but went for the battery only version myself as we intend to move house fairly soon and will take the product with us; putting in the wiring was not worth doing in my case. Non smart devices would be much cheaper and generally perfectly good enough for most people.The item I received was from aging stock. Hi Tech Alarm, Pro's. Beautifully designed packaged and constructed, it's unique and without peer. Con's. Very expensive, the square shape always looks misaligned with the walls! Email warning sent if fire or carbon monoxide detected, but an optional robotic phone call warning to a designated number could help even further and could potentially save life.

easy to setup. easy to install. a round one would be good as it would never look off square, but it's not too big a deal. It's probably a bit rough to take a start off for that, but there you go. I like the voice. The sound from it is surprisingly and satisfyingly clear and full (not tinny and annoying) Not bad value for money if you can get it at the right price. I got 4. didn't pay more than £70 each. I think I managed to get 2 for £130, which was good.
