Awesome device with a lot of sounds. I love the auto-wah in particular, and the other settings are strong, too. There's a hidden boost in the trem if you get it into manual mode. All in all, a lot of fun!

  • great modulation effects, cool retro vibe, excellent pedal for the money!

This pedal is great and it's not the first one I've owned. I purchased the older version in the larger housing. I like the "vintage" vibe of the older style case and the sounds are just as cool. It's a great modulation effect and if you're looking for some older, more raw, less processed sounds, this is a pedal worth checking out. 4 modes, each equally intersting. Check out the demos on youtube and you can get an idea of what it's sonic possibilites are. One thing to note, it requires it's own power adapter since it doesn't operate on 9vdc. other than that, I can't think of anything that I don't like about this pedal. I also love the fact that it's made in the USA.

  • I was disappointed by performance and sound quality, Noisy.

The Worm I purchased isn't quite what I thought it would be. I do believe that what The Worm gives in versatility, it gives up in the level of control of the effect. I love tremolo but The Worm doesn't quite have the range or wave shape I like to have. I bought the older, larger version. When used at higher volumes it produces a hiss. I'm not sure if this is a fault of the product or I got a bad unit. Regardless, its at the repair tech's place for him to check out. I've acquired a Boss Temolo and love it. Boss allows you to control the shape of the wave from square to round and it has much more extremes to its depth and speed. Again, I'm not sure I recieved a faulty version or this is how it is. I do not recommend this unit unless you get to try it in person ...

  • Under-Appreciated Pedal for 70s Guitar Tones

I have both the original large version of this pedal, and the smaller diecast XO version. I love them both, though they have some differences. The XO has an expression pedal input, and the original does not. The original has a direct output, and the XO does not. The original emits quite a bit of white noise hiss, and the XO does not. The original tends to distort a bit if the input signal is too hot. The XO does not. Both units alter your guitars original tone and frequency response noticeably. I feel it does so in a pleasing way, and is a reason to buy this pedal. But if you are hung-up on having your original tone filtered, avoid this pedal. The original seems a bit beefier than the XO, but I have not tested that observation with any tools other than my own ears. It could be my ...

  • Quality in a little box at a little price...

I just love it! Sounds like a very expensive pedal, yet such an affordable one with many sound options
