    Fascinating but flawed supposedly true story of an alien abduction.

    Typical plot of man disappears, given up for dead, and then miraculously returns. Would have worked just as well without the alien abduction setup.

    "NOT YOUR ORDINARY FIRE"

    According to the real Travis Walton this movie doesn't quite capture the entire story in retail of what actually happened but that's not to say this movie didn't live up to the story that was told. I love this movie & it deserves a remake if their is much more to tell I'm sure after watching the real Travis Walton interview I was convinced that the abduction took place & looking into his eyes it was clear that it still terrifies him even to this day. I'd recommend this film to anyone who wishes to see one of the very true abduction cases on the big screen & witness the phenomenon first hand that we are not alone in the distant stars.

    Great movie! Watching this will make you want to do some research into the true event that inspired this movie. Definitely scary stuff! Peter Berg is just as great in front of the camera as he is behind it, like he mostly is today.

    A film based on fact and able to hold the viewer.

    As a dramatization of a real event, this movie captures the essence of the Travis Walton experience. The characters are memorable, and the action is sustained throughout. Even if this were pure fiction, it would be fun to watch more than once; however, it did happen and has never been successfully debunked. You will not be disappointed with this movie.
