Really does hold 3L
I bought this to save used strained chip and doughnut frying oil and am so happy with this purchase! Thick heavy-duty glass body means I can check contents easily and makes washing up such a large item less worrying - the jar copes nicely with occasional bumps and thumps. The lift handle is fixed separately from the outer screw-down cap so no worries it will come away when lifting a full jar if I've not got the cap fully seated. The lift handle and outer and inner lids are made from a robust plastic and really do form an airtight seal to preserve contents perfectly. I love the inner lid - it snaps on/off easily but stays on firmly when using the pouring spout to add oil back into the fryer tank. The mouth of the jar is wide enough that I can use an elastic band to hold a chef's cloth ... I bought this to save used strained chip and doughnut frying oil and am so happy with this purchase! Great jar - just the right size
Great jar. I wanted a wide neck jar for kombucha and this is great. The handle makes it easy to lift, but comes off to clean the neck thoroughly. And the lid, with inner sealer, are great for other uses
