    Get one.

    Tough as guts. I actually use mine to write on timber all day. I bought two just in case but l suspect the second one is a bit extraneous. Leads seem to go on and on like a politicians excuses. Fantastic product.

    Tough as nails!

    I’ve used other brands over the years but, unlike Staedtler, led breakage happens all too often. Staedtler has developed a clutch system which is designed to hold the lead in place, yet gentle enough to protect the lead from breaking. I can’t remember the age of my 780C but I know it’s decades old and it’s just as good as the day I purchased it.
