Use with amtech core drills
Works really well (if using with a small size core drill you will have to remove the pilot drill and retaining bolt before they enter the wall, as the bolt head will be ripped off). I’ve seen posts from people not being able to remove the core drill from the bar. Tip apply a small amount of silicone grease to the threads before attaching the core drill. When removing the core drill bit, hold the extension collar with a pair of mole grips or vice and then use Tommy bar or thick screwdriver through the holes in the core drill, swift tap and the drill can be screwed off. Know if your Core Drills are 1/2" BSP or M22
It is what it is. Good product, fair price. Just wish I'd known my Core Drills were 1/2" BSP. I didn't know there were 2 thread types.
