These are great! I have to call it the wonder from down under. I replaced the original plastic one a couple of years ago and it broke again. I did it right this time. Quality machine work and the latches close snugly. Better than original plastic ones but you won’t be replacing them again and they look great too. Don’t wait until the last minute to order them. Remember, they come from Australia and will travel there and then have to pass through customs. Plan for two weeks shipping to be safe.

The original hinges on the Icekool esky are a weak point. They break, so rather than buy more (polyethylene?) ones I went upmarket and bought these, figuring they would outlive the box. Grant was quick to respond to my query about them fitting the 53 litre, so I ordered. They arrived promptly by Aus Post. Fitted them today. Easy job, the holes matched perfectly and the stainless screws supplied were, I thought, slightly fatter to create a new thread pattern in the box body.
