I think, this is not an original battery. 1. The battery in my Sony Alpha 7 Mark II camera has a capacity of 1020 mAh, this battery has a capacity of 1080 mAh. 2. There are 5J symbols on the case, the battery was manufactured in 2015. Quite old. 3. QR code does not work. 4. There is an error in the English text on the packaging. 5. Made in Japan, but on the packaging the barcode begins with the numbers 409, not 49. Google does not find it. 6. The holographic sticker is not original.

It’s a good one!
A prime lens for my G9 body and it takes me back to the old days with my Minolta and 50mm lens when I started taking photographs. They work well together and the fast aperture means available light images are easy. I just have to use my legs rather than use the usual zoom lens which makes me think more creatively.

A Pro will want this.
Much is made of Leica's involvement in the design but this is really a Panasonic lens. Panasonic did at one time have a commercial relationship with Leica (when Leica needed a partner to badge engineer a small autofocus camera) and no doubt optical design expertise was shared at that time but Leica do not design for autofocus at this level and much of what you are really getting is actually a Panasonic Lumix design. Having said that this is an excellent lens optically but even as such is a little overpriced and limited supply does not help when purchasing. On the other hand this lens is a delight to use especially on an Olympus OMD-EM5 and on any Lumix Micro 4/3 camera. For traditional pro-level experienced photographers a decent 50mm (35mm equiv.) is a must and one that gives shallow ... To that end this lens fits the bill, especially if used at around f2.0. In the end it is worth the money and handles very well though bear in mind a Panasonic 20mm F1.7 is less bulky with nearly the same angle of view and could just about do the job more cheaply if you need to save some cash. If money no object then buy the 25mm, it will not disappoint.

A well designed lens by Leica
I have used this lens extensively for photography and it performed superbly, it also focuses super fast and produced wonderful images at very low light (e.g. evening wedding parties). It was also used for videography purposes. Super impressed at this Leica designed lens (manufactured by Lumix). Five stars!
