After searching through various cams on eBay I finally chose this one and I have to say I am very relieved that I picked exactly what I needed. The picture is excellent on HD and after asking my garage if they could install the cableing I was told I’d need to get it checked in for a job. I nervously began it myself using the supplied tool and with some plastic ties I managed it with no problems. If you’re intimidated with technology please don’t be, I’m 69 and not great with tech stuff but I found it very easy. This is very good value for the price range and the quality is great. It works!! Unlike others I've tried.
This is the third dash cam I've tried since foolishly including my old dash cam a car sale. The other two weren't compatible with my Audi A3 Sport back (2010 plate). I think my cigarette lighter output is always on!? This works fine. When I get in the car it switches on, this is probably due to the parking sensor mode which I have activated. Very pleased with it.
