The ChatRBox Pro lived up to its’ description. I had to find 11 buried sprinkler valves and after a short learning curve was able to locate all of them. It’s important to remove pressure from sprinkler valves by running test mode. This increased the chatter sound the valves make. Still requires patience to find. I used a metal detector to locate potential positions and a hearing tube to listen for chatter.

This gadget saved me hours of prodding my backyard for a missing sprinkler valve. Follow the easy instructions and you’ll hear tapping from the valves. It took me about 3 minutes to find a valve covered in about 1 inch of dirt and grass. It beats paying a professional hundreds of dollars. The best 40 bucks I’ve spent in a while.
