    Al last, a great strimmer!

    This is my 3rd attempt to find a good strimmer for my small garden. The others were too low powered (battery), or a poor cable and extender mechanism. Finally! I have a good, powerful, and flexible strimmer. The mechanism for extending the cable as it wears is a simple push-button on the reel that releases a small amount at a time. No more 'bashing' the thing on the ground only to find it does not work. The quality of the cable is also better that others I have Tried. It is not just a plastic wire and has better resilience. The down-side? Well, those cables I referred to are not cheap at around £5.00 each (don't know if I could refill one, probably though). Two outings now and the cable is lasting much better than previous modeld.

    Appears good value, with a bargain price tag too!

    This is a recently purchased item, and with just the one useage currently, it appears to be okay and satisfactory for my intended use. The brand is based in Germany, though (unsuprisingly), the actual item is manufactured in China. The 'build quality' appears good, and robust. Further use over time will be required as to whether it will have been a shrewd purchase. The purchase price as of November 2019 was £30.00 via Argos, which based purely on price alone is good.

    A good buy.

    Good robust piece of kit. Well made. I think the spool size is a bit too small so a spare full spool is recommended by me. Then buy a 100m spool to replace the cord on the empty one. It’s cheaper than buying new spools every time.
