Used these to replace the rusted (originally plated) thumbscrews on the porch lights. Had to replace a blown out light bulb and found that I could not get the thumb screws out. So used some Kroil spray to break the threads loose. Let the Kroil sit and soak in for 24 hours. Gave the stuck thumb screws a wiggle after 24 hours and they came loose, Do not force them since they could snap off and become another problem. Be sure to check if you need 6-32 or 8-32. Turned out I needed both for front and
