In fact, obesity and type 2 diabetes significantly increase an individual's risk of cancer. One such strategy is intermittent fasting, which reduces blood glucose, lowering insulin levels. Another, eliminating intake of insulin-stimulating foods, such as sugar and refined carbohydrates.
