Put my first handful of garden waste into sack (talking cut up ivy) and immediately ripped through sides of sack. As for strength and how much weight they’d carry I don’t know as I was not able to fill one but I’m guessing they probably won’t hold a great deal of weight if full. Prob fine for grass cuttings but as for anything with roots etc.. I wouldn’t bother.
