Well worth it
This is a lovely clear phono stage which worked very well with my Denon DL110 cartridge on MM setting into a solid state power amp. When I switched to a 10 wpc valve amplifier output was too low so it was switched to the MC setting which made an improvement, better timbre, space and depth than through the MM/solid state combination. Works well and seems good value
Pleasant neutral sound that is warmer than the solid state pre-amp that it replaced. No problems with a high output MC cartridge but there is hum using a low output MC cartridge.The potentiometer switch fails to turn the unit off but I unplug it after use.
