Good Apple Wifi product
This is a brilliant little product. It can be your wifi hub, can connect a printer and share on the network, can connect an ethernet device and as I use it for music connected to the mini jack port. I can then play music using AirPlay to my sound system from all my devices.

For streaming audio
I use this to stream music from Deezer Pro (which is lossless) to my HiFi via my ipad and my home WiFi. As I understand it Apple devices stream music in a lossless format so the whole chain is lossless. I use the optical output from the Airport Express to my own DAC and the audio quality is excellent. Being a second-hand unit I did a factory reset before using it after which it set itself up with zero effort on my part and now it just works. The ulitmate in Plug and PlayI use this to stream music from Deezer Pro (which is lossless) to my HiFi via my ipad and my home WiFi. Fine after Factory Reset
One of those much-sought -after old Airport Express Base Stations. Everything worked fine; I did have to do the "factory reset", though. (I thereby learned that this was once stationed in someone's "Bedroom", which was the name of the station.)
