BROTHERS AND SISTERS is centered on the lives of the Walkers, a Californian family who lead seemingly idyllic lives--until the death of their patriarch William Walker (Tom Skerritt) unearths some unpleasant truths and long-hidden secrets. Their five children, gay lawyer Kevin (Matthew Rhys), Afghanistan war vet and recovering drug addict Justin (Dave Annable), working mother Sarah (Rachel Griffiths), staunch Republican Kitty (Calista Flockhart), and businessman Tommy (Balthazar Getty) also struggle with increasingly strained relationships, running the family business - Ojai Foods, and the realisation that their father was just as flawed and dysfunctional as they are. great comedy shame about the acting.

Introduction to the Family
I had been watching the series in the tv but did not know how the story began so bought the 1st series to catch up. Very interesting series and likeabloe characters.

This is a well-packaged release with easy to follow episode guide. It has everything you could ask for from a box set, including a deleted episode, bloopers and in-depth looks at the cast and crew. At 946 minutes in duration I enjoyed my "Brothers and Sisters" marathon, and look forward to the start of the second season later this year. Highly recommended for anyone who missed episodes of the first season, or for fans and admirers of this excellent, humorous drama!This is a well-packaged release with easy to follow episode guide. It has everything you could ask for from a box set, including a deleted episode, bloopers and in-depth looks at the cast and crew. A Roller Coaster Of Family life
really did enjoy watching this series when it was on tv here. Although it has now ended, and no more will be made, it is great to be able to own this first series, and for such a great price. so pleased that i won this. Have already started to watch it again. Now looking to buy the rest of the series. Well worth watching as it gives such a realistic insight into how some families live and cope with all that life can throw at it. The ups and downs of this family will have you on a roller coaster of emotions, sometimes edge of the seat drama that leaves you waiting for more.really did enjoy watching this series when it was on tv here.
