Awkward to handle
I bought this as an option to keep at work, it's hard managing the proper way to twirl the dipper so that it works just right and it has been a learning experience, you have to hold the lid ring with one hand while twirling the dipper handle with the other in order to dispense only the desired amount of honey. I think newbies might have difficulty if they've never used a honey dipper before at all, I might be spoiled though because my one at home is a much different system and works perfectly.I bought this as an option to keep at work, it's hard managing the proper way to twirl the dipper so that it works just right and it has been a learning experience, you have to hold the lid ring with one hand while twirling the dipper handle with the other in order to dispense only the desired amount of honey. This had no trouble fitting a regular-mouthed Ball jar. It does exactly what it should. I placed mine in a blue Ball full of fresh honey. It's sitting pretty, waiting on fresh biscuits.

Makes Honey Easier to Use
I would avoid using honey because it could be such a mess to pour out. This simplifies the process of using honey, just keep a slight spin on the want and it's not going to drip everywhere. Easy to keep clean as well.

Looks Great / Does not work
I am sad to say , I do not like this product. It looks wonderful , but it does not fit properly onto a mason jar. I can not screw the lid down at all. Either I got one that was made on a Monday or all together this product is wrong.
