To be honest, I doubt from their fragile nature and size that they will be anything but squirrel-proof, but we shall see. My squirrels come in groups of a half dozen or more at a time, and are amazingly strong and agile. They have managed to destroy every type of bird feeder within their reach, and I have yet to find a place they can NOT reach ! The quality of the feeders is good.

The bars are a little wider than my last feeder and they could get their head through . Also, the hanging loop is a little short ,which means I have to take it off the hanger to open the top .

I've just ordered another 2 I would highly recommend this company. I've told my family and friends and their going to order. I've never seen a chair so we'll made for the price, 2 chairs for under £23 such a bargain. Well packed and the description is spot on.
