Super disco. A perfect time movie. Late 70's Like nothing today. Late 70's. The best or worst time in American History. Depends on who you talk to. Music at its peak in last 5,000 years. Whatever happened to Debra Winger? Children today have no idea what the world was like just a few years ago. This movie can only be described as "Time In A Bottle". One last thing-when I was in grade school in Flint, Michigan in 1978 I had to learn the metric system. I wasted my time learning celcius, meters, whatever. Maybe the internet will last longer. In some private hell-disco lives forever.
This movie pretty much sums up All of Our Friday's be it the 70's or the 2018's!!! I recall planning and anticipating for Friday to arrive so my friends and I could Boogie Down showing off our latest dances trying to out do each other. The Movie just brings back so many memories of those times. Thank you Donna, Diana, Commodores, Patti Brooks and the rest of the Soundtrack gang!!!

It is no Saturday Night Fever by any means, but it is a fun little movie during the great days of disco. Don't watch it expecting great plot, story, or even acting. If you enjoyed the "ME" generation then you may like it. Music isn't bad, not as good as S.N.F. again though. It was made by Neil Bogart of Casablanca records who had many disco artists to its label like Donna Summer, so it was a natural fit to do a movie about an L.A. disco in 1977.
This is one of those movies that you just gotta' love. Not only is it set in one of the most amazing era's for fashion the seventies, its a pretty fun film to watch!!! Completely campy and choc full of all the things that make most real film fanatics cringe, I still enjoy every moment of it. There are several different story lines going on simultaneously, but it is still easy to follow. It's full of music to rock out to(obviously it takes place at a disco) and it's Donna Summer's acting debut. So go ahead, lets dance, the last dance and watch "Thank god it's Friday" tonight!!!
This is a movie I enjoyed during my youth and nowadays very few people remember. Showed up right after Saturday Night Fever, but without the dark details. Summarizes several stories in only one disco "The Zoo". It is pure entertainment, with all the fashion, all the magic, with a rithm that will make your feet dance in your seat. Memorable performance of Donna Summer´s "Last Dance". Will get you goosebumps, if you were born in the 60´s This film is very hard to get, not available in BluRay yet, but this is a very decent disc, with acceptable resolution and great sound. Makes you pass a great evening... Make sure you´ll watch it FRIDAY NIGHT
