A great 80's classic thriller movie. If you enjoy the thrill more than the gore, you will like this movie. I watched this with my Mom as she enjoys thriller movies too. When it ended she said, "now, that was a good movie."

I have always liked this movie, It helped teach me the differance between real love that comes from the heart and single minded obsession that comes from pride. Most people consider this movie to be nothing short of sexy sleeze and that MORGAN FAIRCHILD herself was the culpret. That is totally untrue, this movie is a story about a real honest to GOD loving, caring, gental, beautiful women who was just a victim of her own good nature. MORGAN herself is alot like the character she portrays in this movie and it also gives you a hard honest look at how rough it is to be a beautiful women. Alot of people only see pretty women as pretty and nothing else. I personally see MORGAN as a very courageous women with alot of heart and as a very passionate lover. It takes alot of courage to do nude scenes in a film or on stage. She has also had to put up with alot of men chasing her around desks and grabing at her. If I was to remember this film for the nudity in it, then I would remember it for how we see it, not because we see it. MORGAN had the guts to show us all that it is ok to be human and no matter how they treat her she never stops being human. People critized her for being to sexy for tv or movies. I think she is just to romantic for them thats all. I have been waiting for 25 years for this movie to be released in this format and with this good of picture quality. I am so glad to finally see it come out this way. THANK YOU!!! SETH WETZELRead full review
I saw this back in the early 80's on cable. I was a Andrew Stevens fans then and now but I will say that when I saw this and the characters that Morgan Fairchild and Andrew played,it was nice to see them in different roles. You see Jamie go from being scared and defenseless to finally becoming cornered and having to let go of the fear and fight back and stick up for herself. Seeing Derek find out that he's not as much in control as he thought and realizing His victim was not so weak after all. Seeing their characters adapt ( who's the cat and who's the mouse) to reach their goals (her's..to be free from Derek..His..to claim Jamie) was truly something to see. I loved this movie then and now.
The remastered version offers a great high definition picture. Clearer than when you saw it back in the early 1980s. Back then it was a cutting edge, stalking suspense story ahead of its time and now today shows what it was like to face stalkers before the laws caught up with the crime. Morgan Fairchild is beautiful and I like that at the end she is made a brave heroine. The extras are also very interesting when they speak to the director, writer/creator, producer and two of the stars. They also have a segment in the extras where they speak to a police detective, who discusses the legality of the laws today and back in the 80s. The cinematography is beautiful. Andrew Stevens portrays a very disturbing character, reminiscent of many modern day stalkers.
Excellent all the way 👍

An oldie but a good suspense movie. Morgan won't win an academy award for her acting but to look at her is rewarding enough. Eric Roberts is a good villian and you learn to dislike him. The nudity was a bit much but may not be so memorable for some. It would be nice to have a PG version too.
You have to be "into" a thriller flick like this. For 1 it's a rare film, 2 she's absolutely gorgeous, 3 it's a great movie. It's not alfred hitchcock or stephen king but written and directed very well for 1982!! I hope anyone who buys it totally enjoys this film - I DID!!!!!
