Excellent aid
My mum is 86, walks with a stick and has problems getting into her house as the kitchen step is too high. The aid is great. Lightweight, doesn't slip, is easy to step onto and is excellent value for money. Supplier delivered aid very quickly. Excellent buy.

HALF STEP HALFWAY HOUSE...
First off, this is a reasonably sturdy piece of kit, though some of the finishes (feet, non-slip top) are not particularly well embedded and tend to either pop out or lie slightly unevenly. It is, of course, only a half step - and that is both height-wise and width-wise - so it takes a little bit of getting used to. We have a metal grate in front of the door, so I resorted to using tie wraps to secure the step to it - and this has worked a treat. Half Step
Very light, none slip, easy to clean and suitable for outdoor or if necessary indoor use. Makes it only half the distance to step up or down into or out of the conservatory. Very useful making it much easier on the legs.

Strong, stable step, with non-slip surface. First class in every way!
I purchased two of these steps, which placed side by side, provide a wise surface for my husbsnd to use. He has a stick, and is slightly unstable, so the two steps provide him with the space hr needs. The item is well made, with extra support pegs underneath. It is easy to wash, and stays in place once positioned. A really good buy!

Nearly Perfect
A pity it is not possible to make it a little bit higher - otherwise it is nigh on perfect. As an added bonus you get a free foot massage from the anti-slip surface when you stand on it if you're not wearing shoes etc. Outside our back door we have "riven" paving slabs. These are uneven by design and the step stool was a bit rocky initially. Within three days it had bedded itself in. There are eight points of contact with the ground - the four external corners and another four hidden underneath. Two of these hidden plastic/rubber contacts have partly worn away unevenly and the whole thing now sits very solidly on the uneven paving slabs. Because we are not going to be moving the step stool from its current position this is not a problem but it does mean that once you have positioned ...
