    Avenged Sevenfold - Sounding The Seventh Trumpet (CD 2004) a great album from one of the best metal rock bands in the world.

    A strong debut

    The first full length album from the talented orange county metalcore outfit, and a good one at that. If you like furious fast paced metalcore, mixed with melodic punk sounds and even a ballad thrown in, you can't go far wrong with this album. Each song is unique, the drumming is amazing and the range of vocals displayed from M.Shadows is scary, and damn impressive. The band mix things up nicely on this album, there's a good variety that doesn't fail to impress. The songs themselves change pace, "Darkness Surrounding" being my personal favourite. If you are a new Avenged Sevenfold fan who has only heard the "City of Evil" album, then you owe it to the band and yourself to listen to their earlier material and see just how much progression these guys have made in their short career.
