Product Information

Virtual pilots take to the skies, to take part in the most poignant battles of the Pacific Theater in this World War II combat flight sim. The game offers an involved campaign designed to re-create the battles at Pearl Harbor, Wake Island, Midway, Coral Sea, and others. "Instant Action," "Single Mission," "Training," and "Multiplayer" modes are also available. Three dozen flyable aircraft are featured, including all major models flown by the Japanese and U.S. forces. Planes can be customized in a workshop, to adjust set-ups and loadouts. The game offers both forgiving "Arcade" and realistic "Professional" control schemes, and four difficulty settings.

    Challenging & Fun

    I Bought this game for my 38 year old Husband who plays mostly Racing games on his XBOX System. My Hubby spotted this game & wanted to give it a try, so I bought it for him as an early Birthday Present. My Husband said that this game is NOT an EASY game to play....very difficult to figure out how to Control the planes, but he also said that this game is alot of FUN!! :-) I thought the graphics on this game were on the Poor side, (Compared to other XBOX games we have). I thought the graphics could have been a little more detailed, & not so Fake looking, but hey, if my Hubby is happy with the game, then so am I! :-)

    "THE" Dogfight Game of the Pacific!!!

    I bought this game in Sept. 2005 when it first came out. Bought another copy for my kids recently from this seller, because they loved it so much!! IF you love WWII Aircraft and Dogfighting, this is the game for you!! It is a difficult game at times, but I love a good challenge!! Has many of the famous battles of the Pacific, and you get to fly a lot of RARE Aircraft such as P-61 Black Widow, Gun Nosed B-25H Bomber, B-26 Marauder, Wildcat, Corsair, Hellcat, Bearcat, PBY Catalina Flying Boat, etc. I loved every minute of this game from beginning to end!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!!!

    Heroes of the Pacific

    If your looking for a classic fighter game-this is it. Accurate dipictions of planes. Cool missions. Only problem, my boy has started saying "Japs" and "To-Jo's"...a couple of the racial slurs verbalized during game play. Obviously I explained the implications and future consequences. Other than that excellent.

    Heroes of the Pacific

    The schematics are great and the game is entertaining. This game brings you back to the days os World War II and to see how the real dofights used to be like without any modern gimicks, like the radar or heatseeking missiles. Plus if you were shotdown, if was trynig to get out of the plane because there was no ejection seats.
