Get ready to belt out a tune with Konami's KARAOKE REVOLUTION PARTY for the Game Cube, the next entry in their Karaoke series. Once again, players take microphone (or headset) in hand and try to be pitch-perfect as they compete to be named the next great singing sensation. KARAOKE REVOLUTION PARTY features a huge song list of over 50 titles, more than enough for everyone to find at least one of their favorite songs. The game also has a number of different character creation options, allowing players to make a character that is truly unique. There are several different game play modes, as well. The newest and most exciting is Sing & Dance mode, which allows players to combine karaoke with DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION. Gamers hook up a DDR mat controller and have to not only get the words to the song right but also hit the correct dance steps. The game also contains a number of interesting mini-games. One, a beach volleyball game, requires players to change the pitch of their voice to move their character and block the ball. Another has players reading words in a certain pitch to get fans to stage-dive into a crowd successfully. All of these mini-games provide hilarious fun and a nice variation to usual karaoke singing. Karaoke fans love Konami's singing series, and KARAOKE REVOLUTION PARTY is another great entry. With the additional game play modes and a huge list of songs, it will keep the encores going all night long.

Good family fun.
Great way to have our 7 year old daughter practice her reading while singing and having fun. Fun for the entire family regardless of singing skill level or ability. If you are a bad singer or afraid, go to practice mode to prevent self esteem concerns or crowd booing. Pros: Can play the game on our wii. Game Cube games expand you entertainment/game selections for your wii. Cons: Requires a separate Gamecube controller to play. Need a memory card to backup scores and save unlocked songs. Microphone is small and has a shorter cord compared to the wii microphones included in American Idol and High School Musical games. Fun times!!
This is a great group game! It seems more difficult to get a 'perfect' scoring than the WII American Idol game - which is a good thing. It has many songs from the eighties. Me and my kids have a great time 'performing' it together. We bought it because we had such a fun time with American Idol on our WII game system. Though this game is supposed to play on the WII, keep in mind that you need the right controller (similar to the controller used on the GameCube system) on your WII system for it to work. (We only have the remote and nunchuks so I have to get the 'regular' WII remote for us to be able to play this GameCube game on the WII system.) Also, you might want to go ahead and buy the game that comes with 2 mics, otherwise you won't be able to do duets or parts of the game that ... This is a great group game! I enjoy it and so do all of my kids (ages 4-12), of course, many songs my kids are not familiar with but they enjoy 'repeating' the ones they do know and heightening scores for those songs. However, if you don't like to sing...then maybe this game isn't for you! One aspect that I would advise the makers to change on future new Karoake games is that they add more songs. Sure 50 songs 'seems' like a lot - but not after you've already scored high on the majority of them. It would be even better if there were more songs. This game does have more songs than the new American Idol game (only 40 songs) - but with the new game you can download songs from the internet as long as you have your system (WII, 360, or PS3)hooked up to it.

Karaoke Game
When I bid on this item I did not do enough research on the product and that was totally my fault. While the product is compatable with the Wii it does require other accessories that are not Wii acccessories in order to make it work. Unfortunately we did not factor that into our Christmas plans so we are unable to play the game at this time. So while it does come with the microphone and game it is unable to be used for the Wii without other accessories. In the future we will be sure to more carefully research our choices.When I bid on this item I did not do enough research on the product and that was totally my fault. Great game, fun, and works well, but not expandable
We bought this for our daughter, but knew the whole family would play. It has been a blast. The songs are from across a range of genres, though not many from any one in particular. And that is my major complaint. There is no CCM, and no way to import, download, update, etc. the songs. You can progress thru various "levels" and perhaps unlock a few songs and silly wardrobe items. But you are still working with a VERY limited set of material. The dance mat option is sorta fun, and can be quite a workout.We bought this for our daughter, but knew the whole family would play. It has been a blast. The songs are from across a range of genres, though not many from any one in particular. And that is my major complaint. There is no CCM, and no way to import, download, update, etc. the songs. You can progress thru various "levels" and perhaps unlock a few songs and silly wardrobe items. But you are still working with a VERY limited set of material. Karaoke Revolution Party 4 Gamecube
When my children first started hounding me to purchase them yet another game for the Gamecube I hesitated but finally relented.. And am I glad that I did!! This game is one that the entire family can enjoy together. It takes no skill at pressing buttons like on many of the games - just put the microphone to your mouth and sing with the video playing. Watch the on-screen crowd-pleaser go up and down depending on your singing skills. Be careful though - you might get "bood" off the stage if you are really bad. On the other hand, if you carry the tune well through out- the crowd grows, the cheers encourage you on and if you are lucky you earn a platinum record. I recommend starting with the lowest skill setting until your vocal cords warm up!!The selection of songs is varied and there is ...
