Recently took this fish-finder to France, and used it attached to my bait-boat. The quality of the item and ease of use was excellent, as was the battery life, and accuracy of the unit. These were recently being sold (and considerably marked-up) by another company - Horizon fish finders. There are a lot of useful tip on their use on their still-active website. The only claim i would dispute is the range, i found it good for about 100 yds before the signal was lost, but overall I'm very impressed
