I loved the book when I read it - and feel the choice of actors/actresses to play the different roles was fantastic (imagine Mrs. Ben Affleck in her "introduction" role!!). I feel the movie followed along as closely to the book as possible. I have enjoyed all the Danielle Steel books that have been made into movies - but feel this is an especially good one. I decided to buy it as I had seen it on TV when it premiered and feel the DVD copy is so much better than the VHS copy I originally had. This is an extremely good buy for Danielle Steel fans.I loved the book when I read it - and feel the choice of actors/actresses to play the different roles was fantastic (imagine Mrs. Ben Affleck in her "introduction" role!!). I feel the movie followed along as closely to the book as possible. I have enjoyed all the Danielle Steel books that have been made into movies - but feel this is an especially good one. Kudos goes out to the seller who found this possible rare dvd. I rented it first from library or netflix and knew had to get it. The history behind it was so interesting and how Zoya made it thru life when she had a lot of hardaches and lemons thrown at her..She just decided to make lemonade!...Danielle Steele, of the few movies that I've seen takes an interest in history, and works the characters, genre around it. I've seen a few of her movies and have always liked them...Kudos goes out to the seller who found this possible rare dvd. I rented it first from library or netflix and knew had to get it. Very good movie
This CD has two parts on one disc which is a nice feature as the movie is quite long. I had previously read this Danielle Steele book and was excited to finally find the CD in a new sealed condition. Quality was high, with no problems with audio or video. Good made for TV film with entertaining actors.
