As described, maybe the double sided tape should be slightly thicker as it sticks to grained plastic.

I thought the same when I first sourced these wedges but they need to be held firmly to the trim without flexing. I'm in regular contact with Ben in France who manufactures them, he's sold hundereds of sets and now so have I. The tape is a genuine 3M product which does the job intended. Neither of us have ever had reports of any becoming detatched. We both pride ourselves on customer service and any issues will always be resolved without hassle. Thanks. Paul.
