      I love these things!

      I got 3 of them for my shorter XD 45 (4in). They simply add a little extra gripping space for your pinky, and look awesome too. Very solid and very easy to install (at least for me...) - I took a chopstick and pushed the button at the bottom of the magazine to slide off the original cap... hold the insides with your finger to make sure the spring doesn't fling them out, and slide the new Pearce cap/extension into place. Took me 30 seconds. Amazing, simple, and a great way to improve your grip space. I just bought a few for my Glock as well - they taper the handle of the gun nicely.

      Perfect fit

      I purchased this extension to use on my XD Mod 2 9 round magazine. It fitted the magazine perfectly. It seems to be constructed of high grade material equivalent to the material used on the body of the gun. The only drawback is that it doesn't have the same type of grip pattern that the Mod 2 grip has. I don't care about that so it is not an issue for me. Plus it is such a small part that it doesn't show as much. It is either covered with my hand when gripping the gun or under my shirt when conceal carry so I don't care.

      Great grip extensions for small-frame handguns and large hands

      These are a must for full size hands on small frame handguns. These grip extensions fit well and extend the grip surface perfectly allowing all-finger access on the grip and do not add round capacity; which is good in high-cap mag states. Handling a small-frame compact is more manageable when your entire hand can grip the frame and the minimal extra length should not affect carry or holster use adversely. Contrary to the sales verbiage, the grip pattern and color of the extension buttplate matches my XD45 perfectly, and installation is literally just seconds. The fit, finish and color of these mag extensions is great, although the molding line around the circumference of the piece could be intrusive to some, this is easily remedied with some 200 grit sand paper.       Perfect, for the moment.

      Purchased the Pearce Grip PG-XD45+ Enhanced Extension for use with my Mod 2 SC for a better grip (hence better control) AND increase capacity (10+1 instead of 9+1). In both categories, it works great! I had a bit of a problem loading the 10th round, after installing the new base, but that was expected due to the new configuration. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because it isn't for the Mod 2, as stated by Pearce Grips, BECAUSE it does not maintain the Mod 2 "Grip Zone" texture and appearance. I, still, highly recommend this product, especially to those willing to overlook the cosmetic shortcoming until a proper Mod 2 design is introduced.

      Well thought out

      Product was easy to install on my XD. While the nine rd mag is still shootable I have big hands and that extra room for my pinky makes it as close to a perfect carry weapon as I own. Pearce really is the grip to beat. Well thought out and looks like it’s part of the weapon. Doesn’t print more at all.
