Freelander td4 turbo solenoid perfect!
My freelander td4, year 2005, started to only reach 70mph. No matter how steep was descent. I checked online, and found out that was a problem. I had this vehicle only for the last few months, so, not aware of top speeds. Online, the problem was related to turbo boost solenoid. So, I checked, and found this, at a good price, and decided to try. The dash did not show any light/error. So, this was a trial. Conclusion: the vehicle can go now 90mph on a straight (it's a 4x4 with all terrain tyres, so, not too fast). But, I can tell that the solenoid works 100%. It has been weeks, and no issues. Lack of power
After struggling to get exelleration on the flat never mind losing power on hills, i am now over the moon as (Just for test only ), took my Freelander up a very steep hill in 4th gear from 30 mph and by the time i reached the top i was doing 70!. Well worth the money and only took 20minutes to fit.
