Fitted the brand new fan with no problems.Started up system , could hardly hear the fan runnig, it was so smooth, unfortunately the boiler failed to spark up. Refitted old fan , sparked up fine. Cannot understand why , could the fan be generating too much or too little air flow ?

If it was same as a genuine part ,ie: not changed from manufacturer spec it probably would work , Venturi does not activate air pressure switch as it’s in a different location from original , and back plate is 3 mm taller so you have to remove flue elbow to refit it , shame
