  • A seminal JAZZ lp - Essential for your collection

I was blown-away when I first dropped a needle on this lp. Although I am more of a hard-bop horn fan, Rollins delivers his saxophone work with the same cadence and innovation of the horn players. This lp is still in my HEAVY Jazz rotation, and will stay there for some time to come. The Prestige label is every bit as good as all the SUPERB Blue Note lp's I own, and the RTI pressing is as crisp, present, and lively as ANY of the astronomically-priced versions by DCC, et.al.
