Does exactly what it’s designed for
I have tried several ways of sharpening my global knives, following YouTube tutorials etc! This sharpener works wonderfully well and I can now get a great edge on my knives. Love the fact that it takes, hassle free, minutes to sharpen my knives.

Easy to use
Contemplated the whetstone from Global, but after watching the "How to" video on YouTube, decided I'd never be able to hold my knives at just the right angle. No need with this product. Just add water to the reservoir and sharpen your knives with a simple and gentle sawing motion, back and forth half a dozen times in the differing grit, internal wheels. Simple and lightweight, keep it to hand near your chopping board. Rubbish knife sharpener!!!!
This product is over priced and ineffective, I bought it thinking that globals reputation for quality knives would mean that their sharpeners would be of equal quality but that is not the case, this sharpener made my knives worse it anything, do not buy this product!!!
