Oldie... but Still a Goodie
This game is a fair few years old now but don't let that deter you, it stands up well & the graphics are in line with what you can expect from the PS3. The gameplay is compelling and you'll find yourself lost in the world for hours without noticing how much time has actually passed. The length and difficulty of the game were about spot on, not too hard but equally not a walk in the park. My daughter has also played the game & enjoyed it, she's only 14 but I felt that the content wasn't too graphic for her even though it's a fifteen.This game is a fair few years old now but don't let that deter you, it stands up well & the graphics are in line with what you can expect from the PS3. Batman Arkham City - it has Batman, what not to like right?! I'm not actually a Batman fan, I'm not really a comic superhero fan either. I came to this game looking for something different. Rather embarrasingly, I bought this product thinking that it was Batman Arkham City! My disapointment soon ended upon playing the game. Slick graphics and a well written plot complement a well crafted fighting system and gadget to make James Bond blush. To put it short - you will feel like Batman if you play this game! My only criticism is that it didn't last any longer! I've played both Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City, and whilst the latter is clearly a better crafted game, I believe that Arkham Asylum offers the better plot. If superhero games are your niche, or you are looking to ... Batman Arkham City - it has Batman, what not to like right?! I'm not actually a Batman fan, I'm not really a comic superhero fan either. Great gaming hours
Amazing game! What can i say, just being able to control a hero like batman, is entertaining. I bought this game a long time after it was a big hit and after reading reviews about it. Gameplay is easy and fun if you already have the ps3 gamepad experience. Fighting sequences with the enemies are very realistic. You can be either silent or cause a lot of mess around. Secrets and riedles make the game last longer and while doing this you are able to reveal all the places in the map. I think that the only game compering to this one, will be the next batman which is coming out.Amazing game! What can i say, just being able to control a hero like batman, is entertaining. I wasnt sure if to buy this when it first came out but now i wish i had, i thought this game was amazing. The action was great and all the charecters in the game was excellant. The vastness of gotham city was also excellant,flying around the streets of gotham how much more could you want for a superhero game. Another great addition was i thought it was more like the dark knight than the older type of batman games,would i recommend? 100% yes.I wasnt sure if to buy this when it first came out but now i wish i had, i thought this game was amazing. The action was great and all the charecters in the game was excellant.
