Absolutely atrocious. The item I ordered was listed as brand new and sealed, however, what I received was the complete opposite. Rips all over the front of the box set, scuff marks on the sides. The item also appears to have been resealed, most likely after the damaged occurred. I'm hardly surprised though, reading through other people's reviews of this seller. Communication with the seller was also appalling. Just copy and pasted automatic responses. AVOID THIS SELLER AT ALL COSTS.

My personal experience here has been a bad one. A pre-owned version of the purchased item was rewrapped and sent to me when I specifically purchased a brand new product from the company. Water damaged and more than shelf wear when I unwrapped it. Very disappointed, still waiting for refund.

This game is creepy, and a throwback, even in it's day to older Silent Hill games. Going back to the roots of the franchise, if you like old school survival horror, you will like this.

One of the best PSP games and an excelllent chapter in the SH series!
I’ve read several reviews in gaming sites and magazines and I can’t understand why there are so many people who consider “Silent Hill:Origins” (SHO from now on) to be a disappointment. I personally think it’s one of the best games currently available for the PSP and a must-have for owners of the console who are also fans of the survivalhorror genre! I have to confess that I was skeptical about the quality of SHO since it was the first “Silent Hill” game that wasn’t developed by Konami itself but by the little known Climax Studios. However, the guys at Climax did an excellent job and created a game true to the spirit and the legacy of the “Silent Hill” series. The main hero is Travis, a truck driver who leads a solitary life. One night, at the outskirts of Silent Hill, he saves a little ... She’s half-dead, her body is terribly burned and she seems to have been brutally tortured. As soon as they escape the house, Travis loses his senses, only to wake up in the mysterious town of Silent Hill, just outside the hospital. Concerned about the girl, he decides to find her. He has a feeling that she needs his help. He enters the hospital... and the nightmare will begin. From here on, Alessa will guide Travis telepathically through the town, helping him to uncover her sad story as well as the horrible history of the cursed town. But Travis has his own dark past that will be slowly revealed during his quest to save Alessa. In order to do so, he will not only have to face the monsters that lurk in the dark buildings and misty streets of Silent Hill, but also confront his own personal demons. The graphics and sound are good, way better than what I’d expect from a game created exclusively for the PSP, and the music, although sparse, is ominous as it ought to. The gameplay is much like all the previous “Silent Hill” games. In order to survive and make progress you have to play smart: Explore the environments carefully for useful items, avoid unnecessary fights, use melee weapons as much as possible to preserve your ammo and reserve your most powerful weapons for tough enemies and bosses (be careful: some bosses are extremely hard to defeat without firearms). However, I have to say that as a “Silent Hill” veteran, who has finished every game in the series at least twice, I found SHO to be relatively easy, even on the highest difficulty setting. However, be warned that the final boss is really, REALLY hard to beat and you’re gonna need a lot of firepower and healing items to bring him down. The game is of medium length (I spent around 15-20 hours during my first playthrough) and there are two different endings, the “normal” in which Travis is relieved of his psychological burden and becomes a better man with Alessa’s help, and an alternative ending in which you will discover a morbid secret about his past. After you finish the game, you are rewarded with special items, depending on your style of play, which you can use in your following playthroughs. In conclusion, SHO is an excellent prequel to the classic “Silent Hill” for the PS1 and I highly recommend it to all fans of the series who bought a PSP.

Silent Hill Origins - PSP
Typical Silent Hill, meaning not as good as the original but still a worthy game. Feels very typical of the series, a bit samey but enjoyable. Not quite as good as Shattered Memories on PSP but certainly cheaper.

I am a fan of Silent Hill, and for a game made by US and not the Silent Team, i think it deserve he name.
