    Title was a perfect sell - Album does not deliver the potentials.

    The CD has a defect at the position of cut number 1 - Players do not accept it readily. Cuts following number 1 tracked and played perfectly. Second disappointment however, artist Nanci did not have good material for this album, and she lacked the energy common to her earlier works. Overall, I love Nanci Griffith, but don't care for this particular album.

    Wonderful CD

    This CD came out when my oldest daughter was born. The first time I heard one of the songs on it, I instantly purchased it. I played it at least once a week for years. All my children knew all the songs on it. Three years ago, my family lost our home to a house fire, and we lost everything. So we have been rebuuilding our collection one CD at a time. When this CD arrived, I couldnt get it open fast enough. No matter what is going on in our lives, this CD always makes me feel centered and comfortable again. I have always admired Nanci Griffith, and love her work on this CD more then any other.

    Other Voices, Other Rooms--Nanci Griffith

    I did not discover Nanci Griffith until a couple of years ago when I bought a cassette tape, "Other Voices, Too (A Trip Back to Bountiful)," and absolutely fell in love with it. I started looking for other recordings of hers, and this one was recommended highly. It is very good, but my favorite is the one previously mentioned. She has a very distinctive voice and I find her choice of song appealing. Her music is great to sing along with in the car when no one else is listening!

    Other Voices - Other Rooms Nanci Griffith

    I love this CD!! I owned it once before but with 'other musicians, other CD's', lost track of it. As soon as I realized it was missing, I shopped ebay for a replacement copy. It's well worth your time and efforts to get it. (I don't know if it is still in print or not) What a concept! Nanci singing the lead and the songs' writer in most cases singing back up. There are other CD's in this series. A great sing-along piece. Life and music are for enjoying! It will remind you of a more innocent time. It reminded me to pull out my guitar and Kate Wolf songbook.

    Other Voices, Other Rooms by Nanci Griffith

    I liked this CD so much I bought it twice. I first heard Nanci Griffith on NPR years ago - then I went out and bought her CD Other Voices, Other Rooms. She has a terrific voice and I like the almost haunting quality to some of the songs. The CD was lost when I moved so I bought it again on eBay.
