    Good mobile phone for basic use

    I bought this samsong mobile to my son in high school. It has basic mobile phone features worht the phone cost. It has coloured LCD screen though it is small size. Also, the number buttons are clear and smooth. Good Luck

    Just the job

    When in the States last year, the car hire company gave me a cheap chinese smartphone with a navigation app on it, instead of a Garmin it gave previous times. Nothing wrong with the smartphone but the Nav App was worse than useless to the point of being dangerous. The problem was that adverts would pop up while driving along, covering the centre of the map. You have to reach across and tap it to clear it, then if you hit a bump your finger flicks the map up or down and you don't know where you are. Trying to correct it whilst driving on a busy interstate, in a strange LHD car with traffic passing on both sides is nerve wracking to say the least adding unnecessary risk. Then the text for road names and next junction details is ludicrously small and fine, may be OK for a 20 year old with ...

    O/K FOR THE MONEY LIMITED USE

    I liked the larger sreen,it works well.I bought it to replace my TomTom xl ,But don't find as easy to set up .But then i'm not so hot on new electronic devices being a pensioner.I havn't found out how to get it if ,it does have that facility to alarm me if i exceed speed limits.Also warning of all safety camera which my Tom Toms Does.It also has the tendency to say turn left /right instead or bear left/right.Route finding when selecting fastest route does definately not work on every journey tends to go down very narrow roads in my own vicinity.Regarding the product i think i would have been more satisfied with a newer Tom Tom costing more.I did consider a Navman.

    Sat nav

    I was very pleased with the sat nav,5" screen was excellent,but all the uk maps needed updating,which for an oldish sat nav it would not have been worth it I liked the sat nav so much I decided to buy a new model,with free map updates I don't regret buying the eBay sat nav the price was very reasonable.
