Fantastic vampire romance
Harris wrote murder mysteries before this and essentially that is what this story is, with a heavy dash of the supernatural, but this is also an excellent vampire romance. Similar but not exactly the same as the Trueblood series that was based on it.

I haven't finished reading the book yet but so far it's really interesting. I love vampire books and movies. If I wanted to, I could read books like this all the time.

An introduction to the world of True blood. I actually watched True blood before beginning to read the books. I don't think it matters which way you do it, please note that the books and tv are different in places. This first book is really an introduction book and hear you are introduced to one of the main character Sookie Stackhouse, a sweet girl with a gift, that often helps her at the same time as being annoying. She works in Merlottes bar and here you will meet her employer Sam and some of her workmates including Arlene and the ever flamboyant Lafayette. Her life turns from ordinary to something a bit special when the first vampire to enter Merlottes arrives. Not wishing to spoil the plot for you that is all i will tell you, Enjoy and be ready with the next book available as you ... An introduction to the world of True blood. Best read in ages!
I love the true blood tv series and this book lives unto it's expectations. Really enjoying it only problem is I ant put it down! :)
