      A good deal

      This set is to replace my original Stellar pans which are still in perfect condition after 30 years of use and are only being replaced as they are not suitable for my new Induction hob. These pans appear to be of excellent condition also and I look forward to using them for many years.

      Stellar 7000 saucepans, dissapointing handle design

      Cons:- (1) The main handles are badly designed. When you need to pour from the pans, it's difficult to hold and twist them. Mainly because the handle diameter is too small to overcome the turning torque required to pour (2) The handles on the lids have no insulation, so they get too hot to remove without oven gloves (3) The slinky 'Stellar' labels on the sides of the pans fall off. They may not have been intended to be permanent, but I would have preferred the branding to be permanent. Pros:- (1) The frying pan has very good even heat distribution. The other pans similar, but not so good (2) The frying pan's non-stick properties are very good (3) The non-stick properties of the stainless is not bad (4) In general the glass lid is useful, and they vent well (5) When ...

      Good quality saucepan set for the cost of purchase price. Feels good to handle when cooking up and useful with the vegetable water strain lids, so no colanders needed. Washing items after use, easy as is quality stainless steel.

      Fantastic pans

      Having had the same saucepans (steel) for about 15 years, I was quite happy with them. However, my husband decided we needed new ones specifically for a ceramic hob and I’m so glad he bought these! The quality is just amazing: thick heavy bases make even cooking of contents a breeze, the lids with strainers are very practical and fit well on the pans. The frying pan is (I can’t believe I’m saying this) better than Tefal, which is the only brand I liked. Easy to clean, and a nice long guarantee, I highly recommend buying a set!
