Nice to watch an old film that I saw at the pictures when it came out. Light entertainment good cast. By my standards 30 years later the script could have been better. Must read the book by John Cleary who is one of my favourite authors.

Not a commercial DVD but a ‘new’ copy.
This was advertised as brand new. Sadly it was quite obviously a brand new home made COPY presumably from an old videotape. The resolution and quality were poor and there was no closed captioning so it was no use to my hearing impaired husband. A pity because it was a favourite story.

This is a GREAT movie, full of good old fashion ADVENTURE, THRILLS, RASCALS and a reluctant HERO. Oh, Yes... there are OLD AEROPLANES as well!!! AND no blood and guts for a change. Crickey!! I almost forgot about the LAUGHTS.
