    looks can be deceiving

    The basket as a whole is ok, the handles on the other hand are disappointing and don't scream quality. They appear more like chrome plastic with a seam around the middle and both being tarnished. I don't know if we received a Friday special, but I wouldn't say that the 'handles give the basket an edge' as another reviewer did?

    Don't usually like to risk the fuss of having to send something back that's been purchased on the internet, but this looks just as good in the lounge as in the picture and has won the approval of ourselves and even of those who might think we have no taste, e.g. granddaughter Daisy.     Made to last!

    This basket is incredibly sturdy so perfect for carrying logs rather than just storing. The handles are woven tight to it and make carrying heavy items so much easier as well as adding to its looks plus they seem to be made from a type of metal rather than plastic so will take the strain.
